At age nine, Jonathan had his first experience acting on stage. He has cultivated a deep love for acting and has put it to much use, acting in 23 productions in 14 years, including As You Like It (Jaques), A Christmas Carol (Ghost of Christmas Past), The Woman in White (Walter Hartright), Nicholas Nickleby (Frank Cheeryble) and It's A Wonderful Life (Sam Wainwright).
Now, along with acting, Jonathan directs an acting class for home school students in the southwest Chicagoland area. Most recently, Jonathan directed and acted in a production of Charles Dickens' novel, Nicholas Nickleby, which received high compliments and rave reviews.
As a singer, Jonathan has made an impressive start. He began to study voice at the age of 22 with Raymond Gibbs, former lead tenor with the Metropolitan Opera. A natural singer, Jonathan has progressed faster than most students, rapidly learning and integrating the techniques into his nature.
Jonathan is also pursuing the realm of motivational speaking, looking to speak to young people about being role models to the next generation and how to be good examples.
Jonathan is a born-again Christian with a deep love for God. He desires to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus in all that he does and is striving to walk in the Spirit moment by moment, day by day. Jonathan believes that his relationship with his Savior, the Creator of the universe, is the most important thing in his life, and wants to walk closer with Him each day. Jonathan has a love for children and desires to be a godly influence and role model to them. He wants the next generation to see Jesus in him and prays that they may be influenced unto godliness through his life, both public and private.
Jonathan's life Bible verse is Colossians 2:6 - As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him.
